About that Harvest Moon Softball Field Taco Wedding Shindig

It’s on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

Arrive at Maple Wood Playfield around 4:30-5 pm.

The ceremony starts at 5.

Kids are welcome, nay, requested!

Dress is outdoor wedding standard, with comfy shoes for grass. We’re renting a tent and chairs, so yes it’s a ballfield, but there will be shelter from the afternoon sun and a place to sit and eat.

Food is light—mainly tacos and wedding cake.

Alcohol is officially not permitted in Seattle parks so we are not drinking champagne out of plastic cups in the privacy of a tent. Officially.

We will officially buy a round at the bar down the hill afterward.

We have everything we need! But people asked, so we started a registry on Zola.

Let us know you’re coming by calling, texting, or emailing, or just hollering over to us if you see us out and about. Don’t worry—the bride is super organized with the spreadsheets and won’t forget to make sure there’s plenty of tacos.
